This policy explains cancellation and refund handling for ChoiceVel JoSAA paid choice-list guidance.

Scope

Digital guidance access

ChoiceVel JoSAA access is a digital counselling guidance service.

ChoiceVel JoSAA access provides digital guidance to help students and parents build, review, refine, print, or save counselling choice-list guidance based on approved historical data.

ChoiceVel recommendations are guidance only. They are not a guarantee of admission, allotment, counselling result, seat availability, or future cut-off behavior.

Cancellation

Cancellation policy

Since ChoiceVel JoSAA access is a digital guidance service, cancellation is generally not applicable after payment is successful and access is unlocked.

Users should review the pricing page, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and this Refund & Cancellation Policy before continuing to payment.

Refund eligibility

When refunds may be considered

Refunds are reviewed case by case for payment or access issues.

Duplicate payment

A refund may be considered if the same user is charged more than once for the same ChoiceVel JoSAA access.

Payment deducted but access not unlocked

A refund or access-support review may be considered if payment was deducted but ChoiceVel JoSAA access was not unlocked after verification.

Service not provided due to technical issue

A refund may be considered if VedaVel is unable to provide access after successful payment verification because of a technical issue.

Not generally refundable

Cases generally not eligible for refund

Change of mind

Refunds are generally not provided only because the user changed their mind after payment and access unlock.

Admission outcome

Refunds are not provided because of admission, allotment, counselling, seat availability, or official submission outcomes.

Browser or device change

Paid access is currently browser and device specific. Changing browser/device or clearing cookies/cache may prevent automatic access visibility.

Incorrect user inputs

Users are responsible for entering correct rank, category, gender pool, domicile, and other counselling inputs.

Request process

How to request refund review or access support

Send payment details and the issue faced to VedaVel support.

Refund or access-support requests should be emailed to hello@vedavel.com.

Please include:

  • Name used for payment, if available.
  • Email address used for support communication.
  • Payment date and approximate time.
  • Amount paid.
  • Razorpay/payment reference details, if available.
  • Short description of the issue faced.

Timelines

Refund review and processing timeline

Review timeline

Refund review requests will usually be reviewed within 3–5 business days after sufficient payment details are received.

Approved refund timeline

Approved refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days, subject to Razorpay, payment gateway, bank, and payment-method timelines.
